At the end of April the 5 Senses Charity were approached by local business GMP Compliance LTD hosting an Indian Magical Night at Hull City Hall on 27th May 2016. The organisation had seen some of the amazing work our students had done via our website and wanted to use their event to both publicise and raise money for our charity.
Seeing how skilled our students are, the organisers were keen for our students to showcase their talents at their event. So with less than four weeks to rehearse the students and staff set to work researching the Indian culture and created a contemporary dance piece which incorporated Indian themes, sacred animals, and traditional dance movements.
The students and staff performed their final piece to an audience of over 600 people which was met with rapturous applause.
Everyone was able to celebrate their achievement by watching the magic show and the Indian dances which followed.
The 5 Senses would like to thank GMP Compliance LTD for their kind donation to the charity and would like to congratulate them and their team of volunteers for their hard work in creating such an a wonderful and memorable event, we look forward to working with you again in the future.
