Andrew was appointed to the board in April 2011 he has over ten years experience working at a senior level in social housing with a variety of client and resident groups, including learning disabilities, students and asylum seekers.
With a degree in Estate Management and certified membership of the British Institute of Facilities Management, Andrew brings his skills in the property sector to the board. Prior to his career in housing and property, Andrew was a Tutor in basic skills, adult education and skills development so he is able to understand and promote the aims and objectives of 5 Senses, providing support to all staff and students of the Charity.
Malcolm Forbes has worked for over 30 years in numerous educational establishments in the Hull Area. Since 2008 Malcolm has been involved in voluntary activities for MIND and has been an active member of the Holderness Lions including being club president during 2011/2012. He is the Treasurer of the Albermarle Probus Club and is a current member of the Hull Alpha Probus Club. Malcolm is also a member of the Thorngumbald and Camerton Parish Council and is a member of the East Riding Cricket Umpires and Scorers Association, where he umpires matches in the York Senior League.
Frank Norman, MBE, is a former Deputy Divisional Commander of the Fire Service, having been responsible for 14 fire stations and 300 fire fighters. Frank also held the post of Secretary to the Humber Area Occupational Health & Safety Group for 10 years. Frank is currently a Fire and Health & Safety Consultant for UK based health care premises, offices, local government premises, in addition to hotels and government premises in Malta.
Anita is a retired teacher and has taught at primary and secondary level in authorities across England. She has additional qualifications in early years and special educational needs, she has also been a member of various steering groups. Anita was a school governor for many years and is presently the Chair of a local riding club.
