Since joining the 5 Senses as a support worker in March 2016 Natalie Toyon has wasted no time in fundraising for the 5 Senses Charity.
Natalie and her friend Sue began training for the Jane Tomlinson 10K run at the beginning of April 2016. The challenge took place on 19th June 2016 in Hull.
In preparation for the event Natalie joined a running group called Fit Mums, she also went running by her self every Thursday and Sunday and increased the distance she ran over time.
Natalie chose to raise money for the 5 Senses because “It’s such a worth while charity, and from working here I get to experience first-hand how the money could benefit the charity”.
In total Natalie and Sue raised over £700 for the Charity.
We would like to wish Natalie a huge well done for her achievement and to thank both Natalie and Sue for choosing to raise money for the 5 Senses.
